Ericka Longo is a violinist originally from Syracuse, NY, and now teaches kids of all age and skill level in New York City. Being Suzuki trained from a young age, she understands how fulfilling and joyous a life filled with music can be. Whatever a child's path she believes music helps build a strong foundation. Her own strong foundation in Suzuki has led her to pursue many different genres such as Classical, Bluegrass, Rock and Pop, to find her own way of self expression.

Ericka believes that teaching music is not only about the notes in a scale, but about patience, hard work, self-determination and joy. Teaching these skills is something she strives for and believes creates beautiful people and a more beautiful world.
